The Metropole Deco Edition
The first time we set foot in Vietnam in the early 2000s, we fell in love. There were dreamy, exotic scents akin of the alang-alang roof so prolific in Bali, the delicate jasmine tea that perfumed the air, the trance inducing Agarwood incense all compounding to an indescribably mystic feeling, coupled with the melancholy of walking by and hearing the soft hum of the GIANH RIVER. This led to more explorations of Hanoi and its often hidden Art Deco architecture and the secret worlds inside barricaded by their ornate balconies. We take all these feelings of inspiration and sensory beauty to present The METROPOLE DECO... A Porte Grace tribute.
